Posted by: Bishop Gregory L. Brown on Tue Sep 11 2007 Your Overall Health Well, the calendar New Year has arrived and of course with it came New Year's resolutions. I want to encourage each of you to put aside resolutions and just do it! Your overall health should be a top priority this year. Members of the New Mt. Pleasant Family will be participating in 24-hour fasts on the 8th, 18th, & 28th of each month and an extra two days (1st & 31st) during August and December. This will bring us to a total of 40 days of fasting for the year 2008. In addition to fasting, you must include exercise of the physical as well as the spiritual sort. I have pasted a link to a page on physical fitness that I found to be very informational concerning how healthy we really are.
